Our Over 60s group is a welcoming space where older adults can relax, socialise, and take part in activities that promote health, happiness, and community connection. Each visit is personal and meaningful, with friendly staff and volunteers ensuring everyone feels included.

5. Support and guidance from our dedicated Program Lead and volunteers
Our Over 60s group helps older adults stay connected, active, and supported. Through friendly conversation, engaging activities, and the guidance of our dedicated staff and volunteers, our over 60's members can build friendships and enjoy meaningful connections every week.
Our over 60s drop-in is a free group that takes place on Thursdays and Fridays. We offer a chance for our members to share time, laughter and new experiences as we make sure that everyone feel
Through our Support Services, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at NEWPIN and a source of much success for our Non-Profit Organisation. Get in touch with us today and see how you can lend a helping hand with this program.
For Our Elderly Group we provide a Drop in Service where they can access a warm welcome, refreshments and snacks, and a chance to meet up with others in the centre. Great friendships and memories are shared. We are supporting loneliness within our Community.
Our group provides a welcoming space where older adults can build meaningful friendships, share experiences, and feel part of the community.
Our programme aligns with the priorities of funders such as John Lyon’s Charity and Community Fund, focusing on:
Social Inclusion: Providing opportunities for older adults to connect and reduce loneliness
Wellbeing: Supporting mental and physical health through structured, engaging activities
Community Engagement: Encouraging participation and fostering intergenerational and local connections
This demonstrates our shared commitment to help older adults thrive and remain active members of the community.
I look forward to Thursdays every week! From the quizzes to the craft sessions, there’s always something fun going on. I’ve made new friends and feel part of a real community. The Program Lead makes it all so welcoming.

I never imagined Thursdays could be this much fun!
